Sol y Sal jewelry is made to live with you, through sun-soaked escapes and everyday moments. Crafted from high-quality, water- and sweat-resistant materials, however, a little care goes a long way. With just a few mindful habits, your pieces will stay as luminous as the day you first fell in love with them.

Everyday Care

  • Put your jewelry on after skincare, perfume, hairspray, or body oils.

  • Remove pieces when applying lotions or SPF.

  • After wear, gently wipe each piece with a soft cloth (Sol y Sal provides one with every purchase) to remove residue and maintain shine.

  • Do not use harsh jewelry cleaners or abrasive pads.

  • Store pieces in their Sol y Sal pouch and keep in a dry place, away from humidity.

What to Avoid

Sol y Sal pieces are water and sweat resistant, meaning you can swim, shower, work out, and travel in them. However, for longevity, we recommend avoiding:

  • Long soaks in hot tubs or high-chlorine pools

  • Contact with lotions, perfumes, and oils

  • Household chemicals such as cleaning sprays or detergents

  • Storing jewelry in the bathroom—steam and humidity can dull finishes

  • Storing layered chains together; layering is for wearing, not storing

Travel & Storage Tips
